Ambati Tirupati Rayudu is an Indian cricketer. He is a right-handed middle-order batsman and off-break bowler. He plays for Baroda in domestic cricket and plays for Mumbai Indians in IPL.

Ambati Rayudu was born on 23 September 1985 in Guntur. His father Sambasiva Rao worked in the Archives Department. Ambati Rayudu tells that his father is his inspiration. When he was in the third grade, his father sent him to a coaching camp. In 1992, his father took him to the cricket academy of Hyderabad cricketer Vijay Paul.

Rayudu completed his studies at the Ramakrishna Vidyalaya in Bhavan. This school is in Sainikpuri. She married Chennupalli Vidya on 14 February 2009. Vidya is his college friend.

Ambati Rayudu was very intelligent since childhood but initially, his career was not so good due to the confrontation with the big people. When he was playing in the 19-year-old team, he scored an unbeaten 177 against England. After this performance, everyone started considering them as the future of the country. At that time, Ambati was only 16 years old and later he got a place in the domestic team of Hyderabad. At the age of only 17, he played a first-class match and in this match, he scored a double century and a century.

At the age of 21, Rayudu Rebel became a part of the Indian Cricket League and at the same time his arju to represent India was almost on the way of completion.

After the league was over in 2009, he accepted the BCCI's amnesty offer and added his name to the Mumbai Indians team in the third edition of the IPL.

Once Harbhajan Singh had said about Rayudu that he has a special talent and soon he will be seen in the Indian team. He scored a lot of runs for the team in the third and fourth editions of IPL. Rayudu has played for his team in all the seasons of IPL so far.

Rayudu was named in the Indian team for the 2013 Zimbabwe tour in 2013, based on some of the best performances in IPL and domestic cricket. He scored an unbeaten 63 not out. He got a place in the Indian team in the 2015 World Cup too, but he did not get a chance to play a single match there.

·         In 2004, Rayudu was the captain of the 19-year-old World Cup squad. The team included players like Suresh Raina, Irfan Pathan, Dinesh Karthik, RP Singh, and Shikhar Dhawan.

·         Apart from the batsman, he is also a part-time off-spinner bowler and wicket-keeper.

·         In 2007, the BCCI denied him to play cricket as Rayudu used to play on behalf of the Indian Cricket League at that time. But later in 2009, the imprisonment imposed on them was removed.

·         Rayudu was playing for Baroda in 2011-12, despite being a Hyderabadi.

·         He was next called Sachin Tendulkar in his early cricketing era.
