cricket player Mohammad Shami
is one of the fastest bowling cricket players. In
January 2013, he created a world record for 4 consecutive maiden overs in a
match played against Pakistan, which is not easy for any bowler.
Mohammad Shami Biography
Mohammed Shami was born on 9 March 1990 in Jonagar, West
Bengal. He was born in Bengal but grew up in Sahaspur village. The
village is about 22 km away from Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh.
Mohammed Shami's father and his family work in agriculture,
but Mohammed becomes a big cricket player so his family is always ready to help
him in every way.
He has studied up to a degree.
Mohammed Shami Career
He moved to Kolkata in 2006 due to a lack of a place in the
Under-19 team of Uttar Pradesh and during that time he started playing club
cricket with Dalhousie AC and Town Club.
He then joined Mohan Bagan as a professional
player. When Mohammed Shami was only 15 years old, he impressed everyone
with his bowling performance and later he started coaching
cricket. Everyone was impressed by his fast bowling.
Although Mohammed Shami is from Uttar Pradesh, he was
seen playing first-class cricket for Bengal for the first time. When Shami
was selected in the Indian ODI squad to play matches against Pakistan in
January 2013, he had played only 15 matches in the first class and only 15 in
List A.
Shami also got a breakthrough in the T20 somehow. He took
14 wickets in 8 domestic T20 matches, due to which he was signed by Kolkata
Knight Raiders in the 2011 IPL season.
His first ODI match was played against Pakistan in 2013 in
Delhi. Shami lived up to the selectors who put their faith in him and he
bowled very well. Due to which India won 10 runs in that match.
His great performance in the 2012–13 Ranji Trophy helped him
achieve success in a short span of time and earned him the chance to play
cricket at the international level.
He is currently playing for the Delhi Daredevils and will be
seen playing from the same team in the tenth season of the upcoming IPL.
