Cheteshwar Pujara is an Indian cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman
who plays for Saurashtra in domestic cricket and Royal Challenger Bangalore in
the IPL.

Cheteshwar Pujara was born on 25 January 1988 in
Rajkot. His father Arvind Shivlal Pujara was a Ranji player who played for
Saurashtra.
Cheteshwar Pujara has completed his BBA.
Pujara is the son of first-class cricketer Arvind Pujara and
nephew of Bipin Pujara. Both Arvind Pujara and Bipin Pujara played for
Saurashtra in the Ranji Trophy.
Cheteshwar Pujara married Pooja Pabri on 13 February 2013 in
Rajkot.

Cheteshwar Pujara has a great interest in cricket. He
had a triple century in his name in the under-14 team at a young age. He
scored a double century against England in the Under-19s. In 2005, he
started his career in cricket.
He got a long break in 2006, starting his cricket career in
2005. After this, he also won the title of Man of the Series by scoring
350 runs in the Under-19 World Cup.
He scored unbeaten innings of 97 runs against the West
Indies in the quarter-finals and 129 runs in the semi-finals and this also
helped India win that match by a huge margin of 234 runs.
Appeared in a Test match in Bangalore in October
2010. In October 2011, the BCCI awarded him a C-grade National Contract.
Whereas in August 2012 he made a comeback in Test cricket
against New Zealand and also scored a century. He then scored his first
double century against England in November 2012.
He was the highest run-scorer in the 2012 NKP Salve
Challenger Trophy, scoring 2 centuries and 1 half-century. And then he
scored his second double century against Australia in March 2013.
India won both the double-century matches they scored and was
also awarded the Man of the Match.
